Virgin Atlantic Staff ZED fares transferable?
I've got unaccompanied companion status on Virgin staff travel through a friend. Instead of using his 7 free tickets a year, he always gets me a ZED fare and it seems to work just as well. However, I've never tried to use them on any flight other than the original one I'm booked on. I'm flying home from work in three weeks time and the loads aren't looking too good at the moment, is it possible to use the ticket on BA? If so, how do I do this? I'm never issued with an actual ticket, only ever a VS standby e-ticket with a W upgrade. My own airline doesn't offer us flight deck drones any staff travel whatsoever, so the commute gets very expensive from this side of the Atlantic back to the UK without my friends assistance.
