Questions...
Hello everyone - I am new here, I have a few questions regarding working as cabin crew. I'm still at school and have always wanted to be a pilot but understand how difficult it can be to become one. I am looking at other ways to get into the aviation industry - I am currently training to get my microlight license and am rebuilding a microlight. I am thinking about becoming a microlight instructor but I would need a job inbetween leaving school and that turning into reality. I don't plan on going to university so I would be 18 when I leave school. I have a few questions I would like to ask:
1) What is the pay and work hours like?
2) Is there a possibility to 'move up' to become a pilot within any airlines?
3) What airlines fly out of Birmingham and station crew their?
4) How long on average are work contracts?
5) Do you really get to 'travel' the world - how long do you stay in a destination?
6) Whats the training like?
and finally
7) Would I have a problem getting the job with 10 GCSE's (5 B's, 3 A's and 2 A*'s) 4 A - Levels (Unsure of grades) and a BTEC in aviational studies.
Any help / pointers are greatly appreciated.
Cheers;
Max
