Had the new prototypes come along at regular, frequent intervals of, say, three months in the first place, it would have been something to shout about, but the second did not arrive until about a year after the first-the same as in the past.
Very interesting to read that in 1955 the folk developing the Frightning was having the same problems as the Lightning II today - getting enough aircraft into flight test!
