ACARS messages translated

Hello.

At my place of work we use ACARS for pre-departure clearances, ATIS/METAR/TAF/SIGMET and oceanic clearances.

The messages contain code whereby 'MTN' means 'maintain' in an oceanic clearance. Similarly, 'FM' means 'from' and 'APSG' means 'after passing'.

Digital ATIS contains plain language instructions such as 'windshear reported on short finals'. However, sometimes D-ATIS also contains code instead of plain language instructions. I recently encountered an example of this in Paris where an ATIS message contained 'moderate ice reported CIT SOKMU'. Presumably the 'CIT' here means 'in the vicinity of' waypoint SOKMU. I've searched high and low from Jeppessen text to online aviation glossaries to the ARINC website for a source document which translates code in the various ACARS messages encountered. Without success.

I presume there is a source document for code used in these messages. Anybody know where it is?
