You actually saw one? Over the past few years there have been a few sightings and a few people stung but IIRC every case was in the Andaman Sea.
Yes. I was swimming with my young daughter and the a$$hole locals didn't say a thing. I saw two box jellyfish and was very surprised as they have not been mentioned in warnings to tourists. I grew up in northern Australia and know exactly what they look like.
I don't see why they would not be in the Gulf of Thailand as they have been in northern Borneo for some time.
Swim in panty hoses . Should catch on with some of the middle age weirdo tourists you see there.
