My point was not that the company shouldn't care about profit but whilst their sole interest was in profit, the product suffered. The buoys and girls I worked with on the ground cared very much about their product, but it is management who control the show and their career is determined by a spreadsheet.
I should have said Kawasaki XP1 not THE motorbike, on the other hand the picture is much nicer.
