Once Air Asia gets off ground 3Q this year, this will be good for all of us.
Remember this is a 60% owned Filipino company which bought the franchise from Air Asia Malaysia. Thus, its going to be local pilots & cabin crews & mechanics.
No way they will pay coconuts, bananas & peanuts. They wont get the pilots & cabin crews to get off the ground if they do this.
My reliable insider info told me that Air Asia Philippines is more interested into flying the West Coast US (i.e. SFO & LAX) route via Clark using the A340. PAL, watch out!!!
Sea Air/Tiger Air... hmmm...
... not gonna be as big as Air Asia Phils... the Singaporean partners are not as enthusiastic as TF & his partners. Bear in mind that TC is first cousin of Pnoy... my best guess is he'll get the routes (and a lot more) for Air Asia Phils.
