Cadetships are offered periodically by Etihad, they is a big thread below. Make sure he reads through all of it, it is long but will have useful information. The same with Cathay there is a large thread in the Fragrant Harbour forum, again read all. Atlantic Airlines used to offer a sponsorship. I don't know much about it.
