Cork Airport has again proved itself to be a credible alternate for diversions today due to the fresh snow in Dublin this morning and has received three EI and about five FR diversions from Dublin and to add a pinch a spice to the pot another diversion in the shape of a Jet 4 You 737.
There has been a bit of cop on too by the CAA in front of the terminal building in the last few days with the drop off and hangers on not being allowed to park up their cars for ages in front of the terminal. That space has more appropriately been kept for the coaches ordered to transport the Dublin bound passengers to the nation's capital along the M8 motorway.
Cork Airport has had to shake herself up and has had to mature fairly quickly in the last few days. It has been about time too.
No resting on laurels now either. Good job though by all concerned at Cork Airport.
