Bigger issue for PIK may well be ACD when that comes in to force on 1 April 2011. CAA emerging thinking is that it has to be applied following the next consultation cycle which would mean it would be in effect in practice from 1 Jan 2012. Comparing statutory account detail to published tariffs will make for intereting reading.
Bay State: does ACD not apply only to airports with over 5 million passengers per annum?
This leads to couple theories
1) The flights are running but not announced by the respective airlines, thus giving competitors a sneak preview and potentially getting the airport into trouble.
2) Prestwicks IT department is really shoddy and can't be bothered to update the system.
