I think LTN did quite well yesterday. The runway was de-iced just before the snow arrived and again during the snowfall. I went for a walk through Wigmore Park and standing close to the airports boundary fence I could hear aircraft landing and taking off but I could not see a thing including taxiway Alpha or Delta, as it was snowing that hard. The snow was already several inches deep before the airport closed.
