I can only say that every airport in the UK needs to review their winter ops, not just LTN/LHR/STN/LGW/ANY. We had it easy for a good 10 years at least but lets face it snow has and is a problem this year, last year and the year before. We've been conditioned into think global warming, sorry I mean "climate change" (as we now refer) has had an effect. Sorry it doesn't wash with me any more, let's face it the ozone layer has (pretty much) repaired itself, I believe in it to 'some' degree but I now feel that England is a cold winter country and the world has a natural cycle, end of!
