The Nevil Shute clue was wasted on me. I had noticed the name Norway when I had had looked at Tern, but dismissed it for whatever obscure reason (cannot remember - maybe active amnesia
). Had not read the book and, in fact, did not know that his family name was Norway. To tell the truth, have not even read the On the Beach. Found the idea too real
