I am trying to learn about gyroscopes and there use in ac instruments. Can anyone suggest a book that has more info than the average PPL type book but is not as mathmatical as the RAF Manual of Flying (AP3456).
I am trying to get simple(ish) answers to questions such as:
State the two laws of gyrodynamics.
Explain real and apparent wander.
Explain the basic principles of gyro instruments and which properties of the gyro are used in each type of instilation.
(Anyone who has done an RAF A2 may well recognise those questions
)
