The IPCC has received a complaint that some posts on this public site may breach professional standards. Initial investigations indicate that this complaint merits fuller investigation.
Until the investigation is complete, personnel employed by police forces (through direct emply or under contract) should consider whether to make further posts to this open to access public site.
If the respondents of concern are employed by police forces, disciplinary action may be considered. If respondents are contracted staff working for police forces, their suitability for further employment under contract may be considered.
Concerns regarding this project should be addressed through normal channels, or through the POLKA site established for that purpose.
The IPCC will not engage in further communication on this site. Concerns regarding the investigation should be made directly to the IPCC.
