easyJet v Ryanair @ BOH
BOH airport should be courting easyJet. Look at the routes Ryanair have tried and later cut: Shannon, Frankfurt, Madrid, Valencia, Malta, Glasgow Prestwick, Edinburgh, Nantes, Limoges, Carcasonne, Marseille, Wroclaw etc etc then i very much doubt any other potential Ryanair routes would be more successful. What is left? Rome? Bergerac? Berlin? Fez? Venice? Let's face it there isnt much more Ryanair can do from Bournemouth.
easyJet could easily exploit more 'major city' routes like Barcelona, Nice, Amsterdam, Glasgow etc etc with a smaller a/c type (A319) and perhaps slightly higher fares it would be more viable in my opinion.
