Well, you asked for my opinion and I gave it to you. I am not connected with them in any way, other than that I went there.
I got what I wanted, on time, on budget, period. . .For some background, I have a fair amount of experience with flight schools in the US - I hold all the US land ratings with the exception of the ATP. Additionally, I work for one of the prominent flight schools in the Seattle area.
If you go in with the right attitude you'll be OK. How many of those negative comments (which I also read) came from spoilt brats who were cheesed off that there license wasn't handed to them on a silver platter when they got there? Of the students I met at IFTA, the whiners were those that had just realized that becoming a professional pilot was hard work.
