Bombardier Inc.'s (BBD.B.T) aerospace division has received orders worth about $155 million for seven business jets to be operated by German airline Jet Air Flug.
The firm orders are for five midsize Learjet 85 and two large-cabin Challenger 605 jets.
"This order further emphasizes the strength of our business aircraft product portfolio," the Canadian maker of planes and trains said in a news release.
Last week, Bombardier, the world's third-largest civil aircraft maker behind Boeing Co. (BA) and Airbus SAS, posted a 15% drop in third-quarter earnings on lower revenue, as a shaky global economic recovery keeps business and commercial aircraft orders supressed.
Separately, Bombardier said early Wednesday it has received a firm order from Zurich-based charter operator Comlux The Aviation Group for two of its new large Global 7000 jets, which are scheduled to enter service in 2016. The value of the order wasn't disclosed.
