However, I must agree that noise isn't everything; I will always remember Beaumont performing very impressive and noisy routines at Farnborough in the mid to late fifties, balancing full reheat against the form drag in a ninety degree bank keeping well inside the airfield perimeter and crowd-line all the time, the 104 would be hard pushed to keep the same routine inside Hampshire!!
