Seriously. For PPL training you shouldn't be making things more complicated than they need to be. The old reliable items of a copy of Thom, CAP413, a whizz wheel, a map and a good instructor should be all you need ! Keep the gadgets until post-PPL.
If you're a "757hopeful" then you'd better get used to having your head in the books. With all due respect, if you can't cope with PPL learning then you're going to find the route to the right hand seat awfully challening !
