Virgin Blue does ask you to stump up $A25K to pay for your training if you don't have a 737 type rating. It is only after an offer of employment has been made. I believe the money is refunded to you over 2 years. ( $15K the first year, $10K the second year) I haven't heard any one complain about
VB once they are there. Quite a few of my friends are there and they love it.
