Use of Developer to detect engine leaks
Several maintenance organisations seem to be using NDT developer to detect leaks on engine pneumatic systems. Can anyone advise if this is allowed, by this I mean documented as permitted in any manufacturers publications. As this seems to be a really effective way of detecting leaks is there a proprietary product to do this.
