Mobile phones
Last year a colleague was flying into Rekyavik (on a 757) and
was in the jump seat for the landing.
About 5 minutes before touchdown the captain pulled out
a mobile phone and called his wife to say he was about to
land - see you soon, etc.
Was he better informed or bonkers?
I think we should be told.
