Yes it will,
but what's really annoying is that when somebody bites the bullet and orders something to fill the gap, there'll be a huge amount of political bunfighting until we manage to turn a Tiger Moth into the world's most expensive MPA... surely to goodness BWOS won't get the contract?
(Of course the other option is to buy a furriner aircraft, but then we'll insist on putting RR engines in....)
I understand MoD have cut back on the clearance divers' budget this year, they're still being provided with lead boots but will have to wait to FY 2012/13 for the breathing apparatus.... whilst all light infantry companies will have their GPMGs replaced with a new hyper velocity death cannon in 5.56mm, new weponry issue 2012, bullets in 2015....
