I did my conversion at Stapleford flight centre. VERY good school and very good prices. I would say that you won't do the conversion in the minimum JAR stipulated requirements, but I did mine at Stapleford in 30 hours which meant my cheap FAA IR knocked off 15 hours JAR IR training- and I saved money there.
Otherwise from what I was hearing from plenty of people when I was at the CAA- Spain is cheap and pretty good (not as good as UK mind) too. Check out Aerodynamics in Malaga
