Acceptable to the State of Registry
Is there a definition (or reference interpretation) of the phrase "acceptable to the State of Registry" in an ICAO publication? In particular I'm trying to understand exactly what it means in Annex 6 Ch 2:

"The prescribed instruments and equipment, including their installation, shall be acceptable to the State of Registry."
