Ansett terminal Removal of Signage
Vision Opportunity - removal of Ansett signs from Terminal -
As part of Sydney Airport's recommissioning program for the former Ansett Terminal, the large Ansett signs that adorned the terminal will be removed next Monday. Workmen using a large crane will remove the Ansett facia signs from the main pylons on the Departures roadway. The removal is scheduled to take approximately 1 1/2 hours. As there has been considerable media interest in covering this historic event, Sydney Airports Corporation (SACL) will facilitate media wishing to film or photograph this historic event. When: 8.30am Monday 26th August 2002(Timeframe: 8.30am to 10am) Where: Departures roadway, former Ansett Terminal, Sir Reginald Ansett Drive, Sydney Airport Note: Weather check. If there are high winds on the day, this operation will be postponed.
