islandguy, I agree. CX was a great opportunity '08, now, 3 years later even with full DESO package, I'd hesitate to go (wife and 2 kids, blahblah). DEFO could be an option, though unlikely to happen anytime soon. I'm still interested in long haul, looking at maybe ANC/ANA, EVA etc., yet the opportunities are far and between, and highly competitive; whatever it is, I just have to get out of this "career-regional-airline" shiite
. Maybe the U.S side picks up in the next 3-5 years and I'll get to commute rest of my life to sit reserve on a jurassic Super-80... I've very quickly learned this is a fantastic job, but a clusterf++k of a career.
