I am one of the FO's made redundant back in Feb 2009 and have just finished a contract at the end of Oct which unfortunately didn't get extended despite the attrition to the desert.
in terms of what will be on offer next year for people with a history and experience TR with the company it will be 81% of a salary of £44,900 ish!
The plan is to split the year into 13 rosters, 8 at 100% and 5 at 50% equating to 81%!!!
They will certainly be using cadets for next year from Oxford i believe but i don't think on a full-time basis.
Unfortunately I am unable to survive the winter and have been fortunate enough to return to previous career, I'd struggle on 81% too but thats my position.
You could certainly do worse, like all airlines the best bit is the people you'll work with, generally very good. The biggest question is the longevity of the company hence why so many are leaving, add to that a TR that is next to worthless in the UK.
