Engine limit surge or stall is the appropriate non normal as N2 is low.
But with a auxilliary drive shaft failure the N2 will
instantly indicate zero but in reality the N2 will be simply spinning down as part of the flame-out process. That, and the fact no airframe vibration is present suggests there is no severe damage. In that case, following the engine failure the QRH calls for the engine failure and shut down checklist which means no requirement to pull the fire switch.
