Simply put. My gross money is similar to a 17 yr flyby capt. I paid my type rating, but flybe bond you for 3 years for a type rating no where near as useful as a 737.
I don't mind working for the devil, last month gross pay was 9600 euro. Not bad for 2 yr fo.
Not the best company, but everyone pays for their own training up until a type rating, difference is, ryr pay me well enough to pay it off. Flybe pay is less them most half decent office jobs.
Probably a reason why no rye pilots would ever apply to flybe. However I know plenty who've gone the other direction. Again there's a reason for that.
