Many thanks for the pointers Kerling, very helpful.

  • If you must include a photograph, make sure you don't look like pin-up from Crimewatch (you wouldn't believe how many do...)
  • Don't be photographed in four stripes unless you have proper command experience; a business jacket and tie are better than uniform
When I worked in Ops for a Uk air taxi company, we recieved many unsolicited CV's, one which caught the eye for all the wrong reasons was a full page pic of the said applicant dripping in gold bars, standing against a background of airways charts from his student Jep manual, and his credentials printed over the pic....this was a few years ago but Im sure a copy still exists in the Ops room.
