Thumbs up

Well, if you like the personal feel, then I would suggest looking at Bournemouth Flying Club for the flying. Have been chatting to their CFI recently, and have to begrudgingly ( <img src="tongue.gif" border="0"> ) admit that they seem an excellent outfit. Their pass rates are very good, and a former groundschool student of mine who is in the middle of his IR has nothing but praise for the instruction. They also refuse to take money upfront and have no mortgages on the aircraft, so financially students are secure. Even more reluctantly I have to admit I even like the CFI

If you think you can manage distance learning, Bristol seem the fiendliest (I'm not just saying this because Alex is likely to read it!), and I have seen their notes (I teach some students who feel they don't have the discipline for distance learning but are unable to join one of the full-time courses, so I have used Oxford and Bristol's notes) which are good, certainly at least as good as Oxford's.
