Aer Arann
An e-mail from Aer Arann in regaurd to Luton flights:

Thank you for your e-mail.

At the moment, it is likely that we will include flights from Southend to Galway and Waterford in the future. However, no decision has been made at present to withdraw the Luton routes.

Kind Regards,
Responses from airlines like this make me so annoyed!

How can they continue to market a route for next summer which they may have already decided will not exist and be moved to another airport?!

I need to be looking at making travel arrangements to travel to western Ireland in May next year and looking to book pretty soon as I am a cost concious traveller, wanting to get the best possible deal...

I am not prepared to be taking the risk of booking a flight with Aer Arran to Galway, thinking I will be flying from Luton only to be told nearer the time it could possibly be from Southend. I live in Wellingborough and Southend would be over a 100 mile journey!

So I have decided to look at travelling with Aer Lingus to Shannon from Birmingham - which ironically is a codeshared service by Aer Arran.
