Noyade my advice on my yesterday on accent(s) was
wrong. You poke
first the accent button and then 'e' to get é, and shift-accent and then 'e' to get the è.
You can confuse yourself with these to any extent you please - human, inhuman, or otherwise -
ad libitum, ad nauseam, or otherwise. Just start with Wiki like
