near Enstone, there is absolutely no connection between the two. There is, however, a long standing feud between the airfield proper and the maintenance facility in the north west corner, which, having instituted its own grass strip has since done everything possible to prevent the airfield proper from licensing the hard runway. Perhaps there is a connection - or perhaps not.
