Can an Android unit do dial-up networking (as needed for a Hayes-compatible satellite phone)? Windoze does this easily.
Just read a review of the Ipad in the US "Flying" mag. The thing overheated and shut down just as they were flying the final approach
I have had the same reports from other pilots too. The other thing is that it doesn't support the other stuff I need to do and it would be yet another box (+ charger) to cart around.
