a crap railway line (where else in Western Europe does it take 2 hours 40 minutes to travel 75 miles?)
Not that this is exactly important for the conversation, but because of it's route via Ballymena and Coleraine, the Belfast - Derry line is nearer 90 miles, and it only takes 2h 20m the current timetable. In any predominantly rural region of Europe an average speed of 60 mph is not bad for a passenger train.
