I’m sorry so many of you have taken a negative view of my post. I think maybe you haven’t had the experience in the industry that I have had. You haven’t had the lawyer in the USA trying to imply that it was your fault that their client missed their cruise out of Seattle and seeking redress from you personally. It could happen to you!
When this forum started I was a regular poster under another name but it has degenerated into a whinge forum and I haven’t found anything interesting worth commenting on. It is good, but it isn’t the only forum, especially for engineers.
When you place a posting you have to know that some airport related newspapers trawl the posts looking for stories for free. These individuals also post as SLF or pilots and engineers in training to glean facts that they can expand on.
Read the pilots forum and see the reaction to outsiders commenting on aviation issues that they can never understand. We have to take the same stance.
Do you really want me to go into the gory details for your entertainment, will you be happier if somebody loses a leg unloading cargo? If you are normal I hope NO is the answer.
