Nobody yet has answered the question put by many.... why do we as Pilots have to wait without our belts and shoes whilst pax wander through... surely because " something in your bag was a funny shape" is not a real reason...... I know what offensive weapon I would use if I were an islamic slepper agent.... it certainly wouldnt fit into my shoes since at MTOW it is quite big and heavy!
Take the muppets off security and more importantly the uber-muppets that lay down some ridiculous policies on security.....all after the horse has bolted
