Agree with what 777boyo says, you can't compare UAE retail banks with the UK and guaranteed you'll hit a wall at some point almost certainly as a function of the "back-room" types. Having a personal account manager does smooth the road alot. I went for LLoyds just because its easier and cheeaper to hook up to my UK account and pay my mortgage.

Lloyds UAE customers get free use of Emirates NDB cashpoint machines and they're all over the place so getting to your cash is no problem.
