Not on Airbus but the exact same systems
There are actually 2 small alternators/generators in each EEC/Fadec for redundancey and two control loops for engine throttle control.
OK, two independent systems is hardly overkill in aerospace, but certainly better than one. Normally one designs the controlled equipment to default to a 'safe' or 'safer' condition in the event of a failure in command control. Clearly we have to assume that there is local 'electricity' to control the servos and valves otherwise the whole system is dead -- but in the case where a failure in a digital bus system causes loss of communication between pilot and engine, is there any way, on these engines, in this configuration, in this aircraft, that the pilot can either shut-down, idle, or control the thrust?

Sure, of course. None of us can do more than speculate until the final report is prepared. But the point of a forum is to speculate and fly kites -- not to write reports. This sort of discussion tends to filter into the system and concerns can be addressed by the investigators. No harm done here, it is all anonymous.
