I think the instigator of the last thread took his bat n ball, and went home.
Early 182's (A,B and C models) and early 180's have a lot in common. A converted 182 will look like a 180 but it will still be a 182 on the Type certificate. They would fly the same.
Converted 182A's don't have cowl flaps, whereas 180A's do.
Insurance could be costly.
I get it for 2.25% of hull value(nil accidents), but i don't know how that compares with similar nose-wheel aircraft like 206's etc.
