We are just implementing new software, few things you have to consider are how much you want to pay? and what you really want the system to do?
Sit down with your stores guys, qa and your shop floor guys and find out what they want. Also depends if you are an operator or a facility doing third party work. Third party work you might need more of a system to cope with recording man hours worked (bar codes) and billing etc. As an operator you will probably want something fully integrated between your stores, tech records etc.
I know Virgin Blue over in BNE are running Trax which is an expensive but very powerful software. The one we have adopted is Russell-Adams, UK based but widely used around the world and I think just got their first customer in Oz. Locally in Oz you have Daniels which is Adelaide based I think, simple dos program but pretty capable, been around a long time.
