Some weeks ago, approaching FEFF, the controller asked about the clearance number, which I promptly stated. After some minutes of silence, the controller suddenly bellowed:"your clearance number is not correct, you must divert!" After insisting that our number must be correct, we were sent in a holding and,
after a couple of minutes, finally got the approach clearance...
