Could you or tail wheel actually delete the polls completely, but leave the threads open though?

First, the poll can't be deleted, only closed: that has 'fixed' the Forum home page issue since there are no fresh votes to artificially change the latest post time.
Second, the thread time was OK until PPRuNe Towers posted and sent the time back to California: then it came good with airsupport's post, then I posted and it went back to the East Coast
Quite frankly it is all just Too Hard: roll on the VB4 upgrade and a (possible) return to sanity. Except that we'll be dealing with all the whinges about the colours, the thread layouts, the Reply To buttons, and on, and on.........
