why handwriting

bananaman2:
but on the details it says to bring along a handwritten CV and Flight experience? Instructions seem clear but never heard of that one before - just to clarify... that's everyone else's understanding and you will be writing out your CVs onto paper?
Thanks
ok, i am not a pilot but i do hire people so i can explain :
handwritten document (cv or memo or practically any other structured document) is used for quick (takes 15 secs) and dirty (accuracy depending on experience) assessment of applicant's personality structure being divided into basically
  • intellectual potential + creativity
  • day to day organization
  • needs+urges
and by looking at the potentially structured document, how it is delivered, one may assess applicants natural ability to following the existing rules.

So when delivering such documents
  • pls make sure that you think for a sec how you place requested info on paper so it can be easily read and understood.
  • Do not cheat but use your nicer handwriting style: to see what is nicer pls write a sentence on a paper and check the proportion between low-middle-top parts of the letters (low is lower part of letters g, q, p; top is top part of letters t,k,l; middle is the rest: a,e,i,u,m,n,o etc) - check natural proportions
  • use margins!
At least this is what i am using handwritten documents for - hope this explanation can help
