DAA have confirmed the opening of T2:

1st official flight shall arrive on Nov 19.
Aer Lingus shall commence London flights on Nov 23
All other shorthaul from Nov 30
Longhaul from Dec 7

I wonder will the 1st flight be EI? As the DAA biggest customer at DUB and for the assistance during the T2 trials I would think so.

On another note RTE being fed EI mgmt propaganda:

"For the last week, cabin crew have been working strictly to their contract in a row over new rosters - though both management and the union stress that they do not anticipate any disruption to flights.
Staff have refused to operate new cost-saving rosters which the airline wants to implement, because they say they go beyond what was originally agreed and will cause excessive hardship for employees"

The underlined statement is blatantly untrue. The cabin are continuing to work the disputed duties/shifts. These have been imposed since July. EI have unilaterally added extra changes on top of the March 2010 Greenfield plan. This plan never mentioned any change to the contractual duty time limits, since July EI have been rostering crew over the contractual duty time. They have also been ignoring their part-time/job sharing agreement with their cabin crew.
