Have just checked MOD site - last package 3 years ago said 18 months pay based on rank (not flying pay) if you have 5 or more years left to an exit date, assuming 13 years completed since age 18. 15 months pay with 4 years left, 11 months for 3 years, 7 for 2, 3 for 1. Also says they were agreeing changes to the redundancy package post April 2010 so should be less than this, given lack of cash about! Feeling a bit punch-drunk so far!
Assuming 12 years served, officers to get immediate pension even if not reached their IPP.
