If your existing licence is converted from another licence, please do not submit it.
The Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department will only accept your original "non-converted" licence.

So basically u cant take short cut.
like Canada, people are only eligible to write the atpl with 750 hrs.
technically people can take a short cut, go to US,convert to FAA CPL,then write ATPL anytime they want.
but this wont work if you want to convert ur current license to hongkong license.
